ARE WE?: We
are a group of concerned Lethbridge citizens who share the view that
our current government is not keeping us informed or it is
intentionally avoiding revealing many of the details regarding taxes
and spending at the Municipal level.
WHAT
ARE WE DOING?: We are
working
for TACT (Transparency, Accountability, Clarity and Trust) within the
Local and Provincial Governments. Our goal is to investigate and
analyze how our government works, and to create a better informed
voting citizenry. We look for your support in creating positive changes
in governance.
WHY?:
It is imperative that voters
are aware of the the issues and activities of their government. This
site focuses on the issues and concerns of the municipal and provincial
government and the impact of these activities on the taxpayers and
citizens of this city. You may not agree, but you should be aware. We
need your support to create a voice in local affairs that cannot be
ignored. We are convinced, and our
research
confirms,
that the current civic government is embarked on a path which is
unsustainable and jeopardizes future growth.
WHEN:
Our highest priority at this
time is to promote Transparency, Accountability, Clarity and Trust as
the four pillars that represent our core issues that must be addressed
and remedied..
